Playing the piano is a great life giving experience and a wonderful way to relax.  Above all it is fun!  

 

With me, we shall develop your musicality and I hope develop, a deep love for music.

 

The piano is a wonderfully expressive instrument to convey musical ideas.  Through 2 hands, both melody and accompaniment can make a familiar tune sound impressive. Therefore I will encourage pupils to tap into their musical sense from the beginning.  I will encourage to bring out their personality in their playing and to draw upon their imagination in the process

 

Effective practice comes with pupils truly understanding what they are doing - continuous self evaluation is encouraged from the start.

 

Teaching Adults

 

If you are an adult returning to the piano or possess a burning desire to learn this beautiful instrument, I can also help you achieve your goals.  Remember, you are never too old to learn!  

 

Teaching children

 

For smaller hands, I have suitable books that will open a window of curiosity.  All children are musical and I will help them find their musicality and develop it.  There are excellent methods to help young minds develop this part of their brain.  I start teaching student from 6 years upwards.
